Axordia has an increasing number of proprietory human embryonic stem cell (HESC) lines and a portfolio of patent protected technologies that can be used to control HESC behaviour and to direct differentation, greatly improving the efficiency of cell production.

It also has access to technologies that can provide a range of biomarkers to exquisitly characterise cell types, differentiation states and monitor differentiation processes.

Axordia has the capacity to derive GMP standard human embryonic stem cell lines, key derivaties such as neurons and hepatocytes, as well as patent protection on a powerful cell line with immune-tolerogenesis and revascularisation properties.

• Partnering opportunities offered/sought

The company has licensing opportunities in the derivation of GMP HESC lines, RNAi and other differentiation control IPR. Potential collaborations with companies with relevant technology, R&D or market access capacity in the fields of immune-tolerogenesis and/or revascularisation particulalry in provision of scaffolds or transplantation would also be of interest.
