Passport to Export
What is it?
If you are a new or inexperienced exporter looking for advice and funding to develop your overseas business, then the passport programme could be for you.
'Your passport to export success' from Trade Partners UK (TPUK) - delivered through the South Yorkshire International Trade Centre - will provide you with all the necessary skills you need to develop your international business.
You will receive:
• Two Day Residential Workshop- Learning the fundamentals of exporting
• Market Screening- Helping you prioritise your markets
• One-to-One Support from an International Trade Adviser- Assisting with your export strategy
• Develop an Export Strategy- Planning your export activity
• Overseas Visit- Putting your strategy into practice
• Access to Funding- Helping you fund your strategy and market visit
• Networking Opportunities- Learning from like minded people
• Assistance with Future Export Activity- Identifying the next stages for long lasting export success
Who can apply?
This scheme is available to both SMEs and non-SMEs.
How much does the company pay?
The passport programme is ultimately free to eligible companies. All we ask is an initial payment of £1,000 + VAT, which is returned to you upon completion of specific milestones. Match funding up to £3,000 using Business Development Credits plus further assistance towards the cost of visiting your chosen market and a market screening.
When can you apply?
Applications should be made direct to the South Yorkshire International Trade Centre.
